Live Forever Young Institute GmbH (LFY) is a company that develops certified plant-based foods with healing properties based on Austro-Asian medicine. The products are produced in partnership with indigenous peoples in Vietnam and the USA. With an experienced team and a strong presence in emerging markets in Asia, LFY aims for sustainable growth and offers high-quality, natural alternatives to synthetic products and pharmaceuticals. The distribution of the products will initially focus on selected EU countries and target the food, organic, and health food sectors, as well as the gastronomy and hospitality industries.

‘My passion for traditional medicine, biodiversity, and healing herbs inspired me to found LFY. With my decades of experience in leadership positions, I can draw on a large network.’
Wolfgang Friess, CEO
LFY products stand out because they are not dietary supplements but rather foods with healing properties.
Unlike industrially manufactured foods that are pasteurized, sterilized, sweetened, and artificially colored, lacking natural flavor and health benefits, our products offer an effective alternative. Commonly expensive dietary supplements are often made from flavorless, synthetic forms or medications with potentially harmful side effects. Since synthetic substances are mostly not “bioavailable” and cannot be processed by the body, they prove to be ineffective.

Fermented foods are considered to be extremely healthy and can offer numerous benefits for your vitality.

| Health-Promoting Properties Fermented fruits contain a variety of nutrients, including vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, which are particularly abundant in the zest. |
Sustainability and Biodiversity By using fruits from biodiversity and sustainability projects, the consumption of fermented fruits supports the protection of nature, fair compensation for farmers, and the preservation of traditional processing techniques. |

| Taste Experience Fermented fruits offer a unique flavor that is often described as refreshing, slightly sour, and fruity. This can provide consumers with a new taste experience and encourage them to explore new culinary possibilities. |
Digestive Benefits Through the five-stage fermentation and production process, the natural enzymes in the zest and flesh of the fruit are activated, leading to improved nutrient absorption and promoting a healthy gut flora. |

Global Trend
The demand for healthy foods, often referred to as “Healthy Food,” is showing a significant upward trend, with a growth rate of 5% in Europe and over 8% globally. It is projected that by 2027, global sales in this segment will reach the milestone of $300 billion, with the USA and Asia taking the lead, closely followed by Europe. Within Europe, Germany alone is expected to generate sales of around €1.35 billion, while Austria’s market volume is projected to be about €300 million.

Demanding Young Consumers
Compared to individuals over 55, younger consumers aged 16 to 39 are twice as likely to choose healthy foods. These consumers pay close attention to ingredients, pricing, and the naturalness of products. This trend suggests that, in the long term, manufacturers that focus on producing high-quality products will be the ones to achieve economic success.

New Distribution Channels
Pharmacies, both in their traditional brick-and-mortar form and online, as well as drugstores, continue to be the main players in distribution. However, large corporations, such as the SPAR retail chain, have already identified the market potential. They are establishing specialized business branches and developing their own brands, like “SPAR Vital,” to enhance their product offerings.

Attractive Markets
Countries in Asia, including Vietnam, are experiencing stronger economic growth than European nations. There, traditional medicine holds a reputation comparable to that of modern medicine. These markets offer numerous opportunities, although they are not easy to penetrate. LFY benefits from its long-standing collaborations with local partners in Asia.

Customers in many countries across Europe are already convinced by LFY products.

The profit-sharing capital is intended to finance the expansion of the business. In the initial phase, the focus will be on the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) and France. In a second phase, the plan is to distribute the products to additional countries within and outside of Europe as part of an international expansion. Accordingly, the capital raised will primarily be used for public relations, marketing, and sales, as working capital (liquidity) to cover cash flow needs, as well as for product development, administration, organization, and IT.
